What you'll do
You'll be responsible for stewarding critical enterprise investments and driving the delivery of strategic and transformational change by providing leadership and direction to assigned programs for Ansys Structures products.
- Provide overall program leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of large, complex programs, including requirements gathering, business case creation, and implementation
- Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model
- Manage overall program risks and oversee respective mitigation strategies
- Develop resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities
- Proactively set performance expectations and manage expectations of delivery and requirements, yielding consistent results
- Review program budget variance and scope change requests, and participate in the budget-resolution process
- Ensure that the scope of the projects within the program align with business priorities
- Manage program-level risks and interdependencies
- Promote collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders
What you need
To succeed in this role, you'll need strong leadership skills within a matrix organizational structure, along with mature business acumen and industry knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- A minimum of 8 years of project management experience including large-scale complex projects OR equivalent management experience
