Description:
RISK MANAGEMENT ENGINEERING Intern will be support of Risk Management plant Spartanburg in Analysis, Reporting, and Steering.
The qualified intern should expect to contribute & improve in the in the following functions:
- Annual Property Inspection/Audits
- Insurance / Risk Logic Recommendations
- Contract Reviews/Approvals
- Records Management
- KONTRAG Risk Reporting according to BMW standards
- Fire System Impairment Reviews
- Risk Management – Goals/Target Setting
- Property and General Liability
- Auto and Workers Comp
- Loss Control Engineering
- Claims Administration
- Safety
- Internal/External Audits
Qualifications:
- Pursuing undergraduate business-related degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- German language skills (preferred)
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
