Description:
- Support department wide steering & communication.
- Implementation of project and initiatives to support continuous improvement.
The qualified intern/co-op should expect to contribute & improve in the following functions:
- Steer and coordinate the supplier quality development for specific supplier-related issues.
- Manage department wide communication and reporting landscape.
- Manage and steer department wide projects and initiatives alongside management and specialists.
- Work on specific supplier issues with regards to process problem solving measures, using problem solving tools
- Special scopes on specific supplier topics as defined by the Hiring manager and the assignment supervisor
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in college program with major in business admin, engineering, supply chain or similar preferred.
- MS office, advanced excel, Powerpoint•Good organizational and project management skills
- Good communication skills and analytical, solution-oriented mindset
- Experience working in teams or leading groups of people
- Assignment qualifications from JFDS
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
- Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application
- Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
- Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
- MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
- Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
