Position Summary:
The Press and Influencer Fleet Specialist is responsible for supporting the management and operation of GM’s press and influencer vehicle fleet, which includes hundreds of Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles located at offices across the country. This role collaborates with fleet partners to ensure seamless vehicle logistics, vehicle readiness, and supports various public relations initiatives to enhance the company’s image through earned media, creator loans, press and media events, paid placements, corporate PR activities, and promotional showcases.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Support the planning and management of the national media and creator vehicle fleet, ensuring operational effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee day-to-day planning, scheduling, and deployment of vehicles for media and creator engagements, test drives, events, and corporate activities.
- Operationalize fleet strategies and utilization.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors and key stakeholders.
- Supervise fleet partners to ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and readiness to uphold premium presentation and reliability.
- Assist with vehicle procurement and manage service contracts with vendors and suppliers.
- Enforce policies regarding fleet usage, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and expenses.
Your Skills and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):
- 3-5 years’ experience in communications, public relations, or marketing fleet management; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in fleet management, logistics, or event coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
