We focus on model-based design and innovative simulation technologies, offering you the opportunity to support the development of the latest BMW electric driving modular architecture through your internship.
What awaits you?
- You will support preparing the HiL platform to run simulations from the PLECS simulation software.
- Furthermore, you help adapt simulation models based on existing BMW models not yet supported by the HiL platform.
- In addition, you contribute to connecting an embedded processor to the HiL platform for simulation model control.
- Moreover, you will assist in identifying and implementing automation opportunities within the development process.
- You help to improve current models and contribute to the development of the latest electrical driving modular kit.
- Furthermore, you will support collaboration with simulation teams across the architecture.
- In addition, you get involved in hardware and software aspects of the overall development of the electrical driving modular kit.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related field.
- Experience in power electronics and power conversion topologies or electrical circuits.
- Experience with the simulation software PLECS.
- Knowledge of power conversion topologies.
- Experience in model-based design and HiL platforms is a plus.
- Experience with version control and Python programming is a bonus.
- Good command of English and German.
