The ideal candidate plans manufacturing processes to produce high-quality products. Their role is to prepare the transition of the product from design specifications to the manufacture of the physical product. Their overall purpose is to optimize manufacturing within the company.
Scope
- Planning processes and activities for the implementation of new machining lines, defining processes, machinery, and tools.
- Creating and maintaining work instructions, packaging methods, and manufacturing specifications.
- Troubleshooting and improving current manufacturing processes, cycle times, quality index, and input costs.
- Essential attention to Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEMs (BMW, Stellantis, Tesla, Audi, GM, Ford).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, BOM management, Takt Time calculation, and packaging processes.
- Coordinating projects implementation in the plant together with US and Italy Headquarters
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in the automotive sector (Essential)
- Experience in machining (Essential)
- Bachelor's degree in either Industrial or Mechanical
- Engineering
- English (advanced)
- Core Tools
- AIAG
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, BOMs, TAC Time, packaging
