Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has three locations. The Audi Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany, is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 Factory in Hinwil, Switzerland, is known for its innovative technologies and its passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the United Kingdom will be operational this year. Our power unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is available at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.
In the area of quality management, you will work on the key component of the internal combustion engine, focusing on turbochargers, and contribute to competitiveness in a highly competitive environment. From the development and manufacturing of individual components to the finished high-performance drive system for motorsport applications, you will oversee the components throughout their entire lifecycle. As part of the QA component management team, you will ensure the required component quality and participate in dynamic and complex failure analyses within the context of the F1 hybrid drive system.
Your tasks
Introducing and representing quality-relevant points during the design phase in collaboration with technical development.
Selection of suitable suppliers in cooperation with procurement and technical development, supplier qualification
Determining suitable measurement and testing methods for component testing
Execution, evaluation, release and documentation of component tests
Complaint handling with external suppliers
Performing component analyses, participating in the damage analysis and fault correction process
Development of eligibility criteria, test instructions, and incorporation of lessons learned.
Your profile
Technical studies in mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study
Solid knowledge in the field of internal combustion engines (crankshaft and valve train)
Holistic analytical thinking combined with a very good understanding of internal combustion engines
Experience in quality assurance and dealing with external suppliers
Solid IT skills (MS Office, SAP)
Assertiveness, a high level of motivation and initiative as part of a small team with direct communication and a high degree of personal responsibility.
Good English skills and experience in working with international suppliers.
Several years of professional experience in the automotive/motorsport sector
