Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. What you need? The mindset of an athlete. Your mission
Acquire the basics of an F1 Race Team mechanic in the field of Car Assemby, so that as a future member of our Race Team you will be able to use our vehicles and infrastructure on the racetracks of the world Active involvement in the complete construction of our operational chassis?Assisting with the pre-assembly and maintenance of various vehicle componentsSupport with all seat tests for our F1 driversProduction of various prototype parts (turning/milling work (conventional))Realisation of prototypes and further developments on the vehicleConstruction of show cars
Your profile
Completed basic mechanical training as a craftsman, e.g. car mechanic or automotive mechatronics technician, machine, tool or agricultural machinery mechanicA maximum of 1 - 2 years of professional experience (career starters)Manual dexterity and a careful, proactive and independent way of workingA good technical / mechanical understandingPossibly already experience in motorsportBasic knowledge of Excel and WordAn enthusiastic team player who thinks along with you, flexible and extremely resilientWillingness to travel worldwide with the team after appropriate trainingOpen, solution and result orientated, enthusiastic with a considered approach to workWillingness to work outside of normal working hoursProficiency in English language skills. German language skills will be an advantage
