Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role: Operate, administer, and automate Configuration Management, IPLM, and design environment tools (e.g., ICManage, Methodics IPLM, DesignSync, Perforce, Subversion, ClearCase, Git/Bitbucket, Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira, PTC Windchill) Build and maintain reliable SW/HW development environments with integrated quality controls; monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across Unix/Linux and Windows Design and implement automation (Python, Bash/Linux scripting) to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and enable self-service; maintain CI/CD pipelines and related integrations Collaborate with design/R&D teams to understand EDA design flows, optimize design systems, and influence integration and technical architecture (versioning strategies, access models, backup/retention) Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and new feature deployments with minimal downtime; create runbooks/SOPs, user guides, and training materials Participate as a Scrum team member; support backlog refinement, estimation, iterative delivery, and continuous improvement Contribute to cross-functional, multi-geo initiatives; manage effective shift handovers; build reusable assets and drive standardization and tool synergies Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed: A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT field 4+ years of experience across the software/systems development lifecycle, ideally in semiconductor R&D or design enablement supporting design data management and flows Strong understanding of design environments, EDA flows, and troubleshooting of design systems Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Perl, Bash) on Linux; comfortable with Windows administration Administrative-level experience with CM/IPLM and design-support tools (e.g., ICManage, Perforce, Subversion, ClearCase, Methodics IPLM, DesignSync, Git/Bitbucket, Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Jira; PLM such as PTC Windchill) Hands-on experience delivering and supporting SW/HW development environments with integrated quality gates; familiarity with incidents, change, and problem management.
