What you can look forward to as Service Engineer-Marine Electrica:
- Install, calibrate, and repair PLCs, electric drive systems, and ZF control systems.
- Supervise wiring and shipyard works to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
- Coordinate with shipowners, consultants, and shipyards on project progress and issues.
- Support Service Manager with technical assistance and documentation.
- Train and mentor junior engineers to build technical capability.
- Complete service reports promptly and ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements.
- Manage subcontractors, costs, and schedules efficiently.
- Travel locally or overseas for vessel or shipyard assignments as required.
Your Profile as Service Engineer-Marine Electrica:
- Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in marine controls or electrical systems preferred.
- Independent, resourceful, and detail-oriented problem solver.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic technical documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to travel locally and regionally; physically fit for shipboard work.
- Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage.
