About the Job
Mission:
- Ecosystem development leaderacts as a scout and a bridge responsible for Identifying, qualifying, and onboarding suppliers within the automotive ecosystem (Tier 1 and Tier N)
Objective:
- Develop a competitive & sustainable supplier base in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Strategic prospection and scouting
- Market intelligence: Scan continuously the market to identify new prospects
- Supplier mapping: Create and maintain a strategic MAP of potential partners across key commodities
- Lead generation: actively generate and qualify leads for new supplier partnerships through networking, Automotive database, automotive events
2-Ecosystem development and partnership building
- First contact and Relationship building: Initiate and manage early-stage relationships with potential partners
- Value proposition: Articulate a compelling vision to attract top tier partners, demonstrating the mutual benefits of collaboration
- Partnership structuring: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external organism to develop robust business cases and design agile, value-driven partnership models.
- Network coordination: Foster connection between players within the ecosystem (e.g connecting Tier1 to tierN)
3-Evaluation & onboarding
- Partners fit assessment: Coordinate with global commodity teams to ensure the strategy alignment
- Cross functional collaboration: Act as the liaison between the new partners and internal team (R&D, supplier Quality, Purchasing and Manufacturing) to ensure the qualification and Onboarding process
- Ensure effective monitoring, regular updates, and comprehensive reporting of the ecosystem development database.
Skills and Attributes:
- Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, and Partners.
- Effective communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Assertive, with strong demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness, market knowledge
- IT SKILLS: Collaborative tools (Teams, SharePoint) Microsoft Office (EXCEL, WORD, POWERPOINT) SAP Environment knowledge is a plus
- Language: Fluency in English
Qualifications and Experience Levels:
- Relevant business/commercial or manufacturing/engineering degree preferred.
- Extensive and active network within automotive sector
- 8-15 Years experience in strategic sourcing business development, venture scouting or ecosystem development within automotive environment.
