Job Description
Position Summary: Maintain and administer gauge validation and calibration system. Perform system and process audits to ensure product quality and adherence to written procedures.
Position Responsibilities:
- Position requires extreme attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- First responder for all quality issues. Assess situation and react accordingly.
- Ensure prompt material transfers in SAP
- Inspect completed and in process axle modules to ensure compliance to customer requirements
- Perform system and process audits
- Complete SAP transactions for material and service requisitions
Compliance with all Internal and External Production Quality Management Systems and Group Directives.
- Maintain MRB including disposal and SAP transactions
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years quality and/or assembly process experience (ASQ certification takes precedence)
- Strong computer skills are required: SAP, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Project, etc
- Excellent organizational skills
- Superior problem-solving ability
- Strong professional interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Skills and experience:
- Understanding of Maintenance Process
- ASQ registration as Certified Quality Technician
- Perform gauge calibration and validations
- Write and maintain work instructions in the area of calibration and validation
- Maintain calibration tracking software system
- Run and report out data from CMM
