Description
- Supports department and company objectives through a variety of administrative, clerical, budget planning and continuous process
- improvement duties.
- Performs and coordinates administrative tasks (word processing, document preparation/management and file maintenance as required).
- Coordinates preparation of records such as agenda, notices and minutes for department management and team.
- Utilizes SAP for procurement processes, financial budget data, headcount tracking and human resources records.
- Schedules meetings and appointments, handles travel arrangements, and coordinates departmental projects.
- Arranges travel plans, itineraries, and compiles expense reports.
- Creates and maintains service contracts; creates requisitions, purchase orders and processes invoices to Accounts Payable.
- Supports management to maintain target achievement and task completion as assigned.
- Contributes to projects and supports continuous improvement activities.
- Promotes the principles and values of Plant Spartanburg in daily activities and future planning.
- Understands and models VPS (Value Added Production System) Principles
and concepts of Standard Work and Problem Solving.
- Adheres to 5S and Safety Standards and Principles.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in administrative support role utilizing Microsoft Office software and SAP for procurement and financial reports and/or SAP for logistics processes.
- 5+ years of production process or rework/quality inspection experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience (preferred).
- 1+ years of knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) in addition to Power BI and other digitalization tools.
- 1+ years of knowledge in SAP regarding procurement and financial areas and/or SAP regarding logistics processes.
- 1+ years of organizational skills especially coordinating multiple schedules and projects.
- 1+ years of ability to effectively communicate within cross-functional teams.
- 1+ years of professional communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) (preferred).
