The Marketing Finance Analyst – Retail Incentives plays a key role in supporting GM Canada's vehicle sales strategy through the design, execution, and financial oversight of incentive programs. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure incentive investments are optimized for performance, compliance, and strategic alignment.

Responsibilities will include the following:

Support the development and financial modeling of national and regional retail incentive programs.

Provide support to the Brand teams by evaluating various incentive recommendations and their financial impact.

Analyze vehicle sales performance, market share, and competitive activity to inform incentive strategy.

Benchmark GM programs against key competitors.
-
Optimize incentive programs by identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving ROI, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Conduct special studies and ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Lead process efficiency initiatives by streamlining workflows, automating reporting, and enhancing system capabilities for incentive tracking and forecasting.

Lead monthly forecast coordination for incentive spend, aligning with finance and marketing stakeholders.

Monitor incentive spend, ROI, and program effectiveness using tools such as Excel, Power BI, etc.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Track key KPIs such as incentive cost per unit, lease and finance penetrations, and forecast accuracy.

Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, SOX compliance and financial procedures.

Collaborate with accounting and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness and internal controls.

Contribute to system enhancements and automation initiatives related to incentive tracking and reporting.

Manage special projects and cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic improvements in incentive design, operational efficiency, and business performance.
