Develop, maintain, and enhance graphics software products on Infineon MCUs Design, implement, and thoroughly test embedded software solutions Work closely with hardware architecture and design teams for hardware/software co-design and SW optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application engineering and marketing, to align solutions with customer needs Ensure compliance with Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262,ISO 21434 standards in software development activities Support internal and external customers in the use of graphics software products Develop embedded software applications or use case studies As a Senior Staff Engineer Software, you are able to quickly establish a successful cooperation. A degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field At least 5 years of experience with automotive software products Proven and up-to-date expertise in embedded C/C++ programming, with regular involvement in developing Practical knowledge of system-wide hardware-software co-design Experience with state-of-the-art tools, such as compilers (e.g. MSVC, GHS, IAR), version control systems (e.g. SVN, GIT), and lifecycle management tools (e.g. Polarion) Strong expertise in bare metal programming to develop efficient real-time solutions for automotive microcontroller applications Extensive experience in hardware integration, debugging, and system-level design, with a hands-on approach to working closely with both hardware and software components Familiarity with V-Model development processes, including the ability to trace requirements, implement software, and validate systems using structured verification and validation methodologies Ability to work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams (hardware, software, and systems engineering) in a wide-spread development environment, ensuring alignment between functional, performance, and safety goals Hands-on experience working with Traveo microcontrollers (MCUs) or similar automotive-grade microcontroller platforms Demonstrated ability to integrate AI-assisted workflows into embedded systems development Understanding of Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434 standards Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar frameworks A self-driven, pro-active working method and are characterized by strong problem solving and interpersonal skills Very good English language skills - German will be an added advantage We are on a journey to create the best Infineon for everyone.
