Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role: Be responsible for preparing, performing, and assessing EMC and ESD analyses of Infineon high-performance 32-bit microcontrollers at IC- and system-level Design layouts for test boards for 32-bit microcontrollers and analyze their performance Set up and commission of test circuits and porting of module and application test software to real silicon/products Do functional verification of module and application test software in a multi-CPU real-time operating system and readout activity monitors via debugger Determine EMC characteristics of software functions at the product level (e.g., IO port timing, performance adjustments) and validation of specific module activities Support and develop pre-and/or post-silicon improvement measures on the chip or system level based on advanced analyses and simulations Develop application recommendations, test documentation, and application notes, as well as supporting our customers Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed: As a Staff Engineer EMC Microcontroller, you have a clear notion of how innovation contributes to the commercial success of the company. Furthermore, you anticipate even the future needs of customers and engage actively with the customer about these needs. Lastly, you cooperate across boundaries and appreciate the contributions of other people. A degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing., M. Sc., PhD) or a similar At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience Profound knowledge in microcontroller architectures, interfaces and applications Experience in layout development of test boards for microcontrollers, high-speed interfaces, LVDS differential routing, signal integrity and power integrity analysis Experience in functional verification, system validation of microcontroller architectures and porting, commissioning of application test software (code hex-files, debug information) Knowledge in multi-core debugging of a real-time operating system with debugger (breakpoints, register access, multi CPU settings) Experience in EMC, ESD and RF measurement technology, test automation, diagnostics and debugging as well as experience in pre-/post- silicon EMC analyses on chip or system level by measurements and simulations * Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken Contact: Carolina Moreira #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
