Alphabet GB is looking for an Account Manager to help deliver and exceed Account Management targets across multiple channels.
What awaits you?
- Improve penetration of core funding and FSI products and services into existing customer base, in order to maximise Order, GM and Portfolio, utilising where applicable Product specialists such as Mobility Consultants, LCV specialists and Fleet Consultants.
- Provide regular and accurate forecasting and reporting to the Account Management Manager in relation to order, portfolio, margin and KPI targets
- Identify, source and develop any potential new business opportunities and referrals from existing customer base
- Work with customers to report on and achieve KPI’s and SLA’s that are contractually binding, along with full contract and concession management.
- Create and deliver on strategic Account Management Plans for each customer in order to maximise short, mid and long term potential and minimise risk and work with the customer to agree strategic direction
- Lead all customer account management review meetings, (monthly, quarterly and annual) proactively developing the customer relationship and managing pre-agreed objectives
- Manage margin, profitability, debt and risk at a customer level to ensure continued revenue growth/GM per unit/FSI sales through the correct management of mileage, reschedules, maintenance overspend, debt report and profit shares as required based on the customer lifecycle
- Ensure the retention of all customers within the existing portfolio and to ensure full visibility of account renewal activity, working closely with all departments including the tender/bid team to respond to all RFI/ITT documentation
- Customer portfolio expert for internal colleagues
- Involvement in relevant internal meetings and projects associated with account management and portfolio of customers
- Develop and maintain a robust, accurate and current CRM system which maps all the companies and the opportunity therein your defined territory.
- Responsible for providing tailored advice, expertise and recommendations to support your customer portfolio in running their fleet, meeting their objectives and considering their wider mobility needs. This includes topics such as fleet strategy, policy, environmental sustainability, fleet duty of care, and cost savings, as well as providing proactive updates on the current market and industry news with recommendations on how to act.
The role requires extensive travel, with the candidate expected to be able to travel frequently for meetings throughout the UK (and occasionally internationally), including overnight stays as necessary.
What should you bring along?
- Good standard of education that may be evidenced through selection testing.
- Proven experience in relationship management or account management position
- Proven track record of success against sales and profitability targets
- Experience at dealing at all levels in high profile, multi-national companies
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Established experience of the financial services and leasing industry desirable
- Strong presentation skills
- Self-motivated, self-managing with a proactive nature
