Purpose of the Role:
To support the small but very busy revenue finance team and wider business stakeholders by ensuring day to day support of the sales invoicing & debt collection.
Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations
Collaborates across functional areas to ensure completeness of sales orders, ready to be invoiced. Reconciling the sales invoice list back to sales orders which in turn ensures all orders are raised quickly & error free.
Spotting potential missed sales orders and finding remedial actions from missed invoices.
Responsible for chasing old debtor balances on a routine & in a logical manner.
Assist in identifying process improvements & providing suggestions for improvements
Support foreign bank verification processes in collaboration with Treasury, exploring automation opportunities for efficiency.
Assist with bank allocations and identify debtor accounts and corresponding invoices.
Maintain detailed notes on remittance advices, debt collection stages, and payment timelines.
Sales Ledger & Customer Management
Monitor and manage the sales ledger inbox, ensuring timely action, proper filing, and risk mitigation.
Oversee new customer onboarding processes, ensuring records are complete.
Support VIK (Value-in-Kind) administration and invoice chasing.
Data cleansing the debtor ledger, including updating details & allocating receipts.
Customer facing to help reconcile customer queries in a timely manner.
Process & Data Management
Assist with ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) compliance activities.
Support data cleansing initiatives, including updating email addresses in SUN for automated invoice distribution.
Prepare and distribute month-end and intercompany statements.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working with 3 days a week based in the MTC.

The MTC is connected to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London Waterloo is a 30 minute train ride.
