WHAT AWAITS YOU.
- Conduct Q-gate inspections, vehicle quality audits, and basic vehicle repairs.
- Perform accessory installations, QC-1, and remediation on basic/light campaign vehicles.
- Program vehicles and handle A-Check-ins (VDC transfer vehicles) processes; rotate across production areas to support wholesale objectives.
- Execute daily 6S in the work area (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Safety, Sustain).
- Support inventory audits, special events, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct battery voltage checks/maintenance and order parts as needed.Uphold company core values, leadership competency expectations, and engage in continuous learning.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2 + years of general work experience or a combination of associates degree or higher and general work experience equaling less than 1 year.
- Working knowledge of the VMS Service Order System.
- Automotive, production, distribution, quality, customer orientation experience, preferred.
This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise.
This role requires full time attendance at the facility and is a 1st shift (6:00AM - 2:30PM) position, with mandatory overtime as needed.
The hourly rate for this role is: $30.91 per hour (per collective bargaining agreement). Supplemental earning potential includes shift differential, overtime, and annual bonus eligibility. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
