AP Racing is proud to offer placement opportunities to undergraduates who are seeking a year’s industrial experience within a globally recognised company. This placement is to begin in July 2026, and the details are as follows:
Role
Design, develop and modify brake and clutch products for race and high-performance road applications using CAD and technical drawings.
Design and analyse fixtures using CAD and FEA.
Create and modify technical documents.
Liaise both internally and externally across various departments, suppliers and customers.

What We Want From You
Undergraduate studying an engineering degree for at least 2 years, on track for a 2:1 or above. (Mechanical, Motorsport, Automotive, Aeronautical Engineering or similar)
Willing to learn new skills, good at problem solving and coming up with creative solutions.
Passion for engineering, willing to work proactively and self-motivated.
Able to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Applicants must be returning to university to finish their degree after completion of the placement in order to be considered eligible.
