We are looking for a driven and experienced Stores Team Leader to take a hands-on leadership role within our high-performance Stores department. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and efficient flow of parts and materials throughout the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the Stores team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the department.
Oversee goods receipting for internal and external supply, including car parts and consumables.
Manage subcontract processing, including ordering and tracking parts through the system.
Coordinate the picking and preparation of assembly kits for both workshop and external requirements.
Provide cover for front counter services as required.
Oversee UK and international dispatch logistics, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Maintain balanced and accurate stock through effective inventory control and regular stock checks.
Identify and implement process improvements based on data analysis and team feedback.
Communicate changing requirements clearly and ensure smooth implementation across the team.
Delegate tasks effectively while creating opportunities for team growth and development.
Chair and contribute to regular team and cross-departmental meetings.
Always ensure professional conduct and adherence to company standards.
Maintain current industry knowledge and ensure Stores practices remain best-in-class.
Perform other duties in line with the role as required. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Proven experience in a Stores leadership role, ideally within a Formula One or high-level Motorsport/Manufacturing environment.
Deep understanding of Stores processes, parts handling, and stock management.
Track record of improving efficiency through process analysis and team development.
Excellent communication, leadership, and delegation skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure and make confident, well-informed decisions.
Strong organisational skills and an analytical mindset.
Flexible and proactive approach to a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
