Task
Implement and perform general accounting processes regarding insolvency procedures (including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Clearing Accounts, General Ledger)
Create and maintain financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements)
Conduct plausibility checks and support with the asset valuation and final invoices
Extract and examine creditor and debtor data and ensure that all actions comply with relevant insolvency laws and regulations.
Support in the preparation of structured reports for insolvency administrators, lawyers and courts
Closely collaborate and communicate with German-speaking clients and legal counterparts
Participate in process optimization initiatives and ensure that all processes are properly documented within the Delivery Team
QualificationsQualificationsQualifications
Must haves:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Economics
5+ years of relevant experience in finance/accounting (Insolvency Accounting preferred), in an international environment
Advanced use of Excel and other MS Office tools
Strong analytical skills
Nice to haves:
Knowledge of DATEV represents an advantage
Experience in SAP represents an advantage
Knowledge on German law, with focus on insolvency proceedings and accounting
Things to know before departure:
Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
Working hours: full time (40h); 27 vacation days
Employment contract: Unlimited
