Tasks
The Production Systems department is responsible for the further development of the Porsche Production System and the implementation of the Porsche Improvement Process. The team also focuses on the professional development of our employees. For this purpose, a wide variety of training courses are developed and conducted. Innovative learning formats are used within the framework of Industry 4.0. The department, which reports directly to management, is also working on the digitalization of shop floor management.
During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights and support us with, for example, the following projects and activities:
Participation in the strategic and content-related development of the Porsche Production System within the framework of Industry 4.0
Support in the development and maintenance of digital applications to optimize shop floor management
Assistance in the development and testing of virtual learning formats for professional employee qualification
Participation in optimization workshops/projects
Assistance with result documentation and result controlling
Requirements
Studies in media informatics, computer science, or business and engineering, for example, with a focus on application programming, digital media, virtual reality, or production technology
At least three semesters of study experience
Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
Ideally, basic knowledge of app development, UI/UX design, Industry 4.0, and lean production
Programming skills are also desirable (e.g., Atlassian tools, JavaScript, HTML5)
Good English skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
