Job description and duties
Reporting to the Press Relations Officer, the junior press officer works on the ACO's ongoing B2C and B2B activities and events, particularly the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 24 Heures Motos. Within the content division, the junior press officer will be responsible for developing the ACO's press relations and will participate in the operational organization of events.
You will be required to:
Manage incoming requests from journalists or photographers (photos, videos, contact, information),
Carry out the programming and assistance/organization of press days within the circuit,
Help set up press conferences,
Carry out one-to-one contact to promote topics of ongoing activities and events,
Provide organizational support during media days (reception, vests) and management of Directorate volunteers during events (press room volunteers and photographers),
Look for new media to approach,
Write press releases and press kits,
Post press releases on marketing topics (partnerships, licenses),
Participate in the operational/media organization of various events: driving days, tests, team driving,
Manage media accreditations and provide press room support at ACO events,
Create documents for the various events: photographers' brief, journalist's note, discharge, team information, interim brief, signs, schedule,
Manage the back office press releases, articles, newsletter subscribers, media sending databases and press release – article follow-ups,
Provide support for internal communication.
Desired profile
You are in BAC +4/5 training in a communications or business school,
You have media knowledge,
You enjoy working in a team and are proactive,
You are independent, organized and rigorous,
Proficiency in office tools is necessary,
Fluency in English is essential for this position (oral and written),
Possession of a B license is required,
Availability during sporting events.
