Key Accountabilities:
Assist with Month End Reporting including posting (accruals and prepayments)
Preparation of monthly reporting for allocated cost centres
Support in budget and planning processes
Support with audit requests
Ad hoc analysis and query support
Managing approvals for Purchasing and Expense processes
Build strong relationships within the Finance Team.
Develop insight into Financial Regulations and identify optimisation opportunities.
Major contributor to process improvement through leveraging technology.
Candidate profile:
Your commitment and diligence have yielded good university results: you have completed, or will soon be completing, a relevant course of undergraduate or post-graduate study and you have a good appreciation of the relevant subject matter.
With an open and honest communication style, you relish collaborating in a team setting and enjoy discussing technical concepts. You are equally comfortable working on your own: applying your reflective nature, interpretive skills, attention to detail and dependable judgment to understand complicated problems then propose and evaluate viable solutions in a timely fashion. Looking to fulfil your potential, you are excited about constantly learning while fostering the understanding of others.
A prior interest or involvement in motorsport is not required: we are more interested in your potential to deliver at the highest level, applying your skills and understanding to practical challenges.
Essential:
The ideal candidate should have a relevant Accounting or Finance degree (including a year in industry or other industry experience).
Experience of Microsoft office knowledge, especially Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Excellent attention to detail
Proactive approach
Have a can do attitude and prepared to assist across of areas of Finance
