Measurement technology safeguards all development measures on the vehicle or its components. Complex systems and sensors are used for this purpose. Mechanical, optical, and electrical sensors record the vehicle environment and record the physical variables in the measurement systems. Measurement technology is therefore directly related to the vehicle. Subsequent analyses using evaluation systems show whether the development goal has been achieved. Quality Assurance ensures the long-term, high-quality measurement values ??we strive for through the calibration of measurement components.

Measurement Technology Application
Preparation, organization, implementation, and evaluation of test setups and test drives
Analysis and processing of measurement data
Key topics: Brakes and driving dynamics, engine mechanics and application support, energy management (12V, HV), chassis and body stress, ADAS, thermodynamics
Measurement Technology: Measurement systems and measurement data governance
Development of software tools and components for acquiring measurement data
Development of tools for interactive and automated analysis of measurement data
Development of tools for handling measurement data
Support for data logging and application measurement technology
Support for video and optical measurement technology, image processing
Measurement Technology: Calibration technology and quality assurance
Development of measurement technology components to support vehicle development and its quality assurance (Hardware / Software)
Development of calibration, testing, and evaluation software for quality assurance of sensors and hardware components on the vehicle and on the test bench.
Construction and development of calibration and test facilities for the calibration and testing of measurement technology, taking existing standards (17025, GUM) into account.
Coordination of type-approval-relevant calibrations (driver assistance systems, emissions test benches, etc.)
Integration and design of special measurement technology for electromobility (HV battery, temperature)
