In the "Connect and Infotainment System" area, we develop not only infotainment, navigation, and Connect services, but also display and control systems and sound systems. The scope of development extends from the hardware and software for the vehicle's computer systems along the entire end-to-end chain, to the servers in the backend systems and data analysis using data analytics and AI, to the integration of the My Porsche smartphone app and the web front ends.
During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on your interests, support us in one of four U.S. Described specialist areas, for example, in the following projects and activities:
Architecture and Platform
Evaluation and collaboration in method development for modeling Connect architectures
Collaboration in the development of a data analytics trace/analysis tool
Collaboration in the analysis and evaluation of performance measurements
Collaboration in the development of concepts for abstracting the Connect platform in various E/E architectures
Data & Remote Functions
Collaboration in AI model development and feature engineering
Support in the development of the cloud infrastructure
Data analytics and visualization
Development and optimization of tool chains
Over-the-Air Data Collector (enabler in the vehicle)
Backend
Cloud Infrastructure/Cloud Microservices Development
Support in the development of tools and scripts for the projects
Participation in the research and development of hardware and software automation solutions
OTA Functions & Connect Components
Support in Connect ECU development for validation in the overall network/vehicle
Support in the functional development of over-the-air services and functions
Collaboration in Digital Lifecycle Management for updating Existing vehicles (ensuring the end-to-end over-the-air update chain)
Collaboration on the strategic topics of the two specialist departments
