RESPONSIBILITIES
People
• Recruit and hire staff to meet the needs of business and clients.
• Onboard and train new employees and provide continuing education and training to current employees.
• Build long-term recurring relationships with your client base through the Customer Experience Model, product knowledge and story-telling, suggestive selling and marketing through store events and community outreach and involvement.
• Effectively analyze the business to ensure client continuity and actively acquire new clients via the customer capture process.
• Motivate staff and implement daily sales goals and/or “item of the day” focus.
• Be diligent in clienteling, while in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (achieve monthly client capture targets, maintain client book, build prospects, thank you cards and follow-up).
• Have an active floor presence in order to supervise selling floor coverage and up-system to support staff.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, staff and colleagues.
• Team meetings and/or consistent method of communication with staff (Opterus platform).
• Ensure timely completion of LMS and KPA Safety Training on their independent portals.
• Lead by example with compliance and integrity.
Product
• Stay current with new product developments and their features.
• Know and teach the Porsche Design history and storytelling behind a product.
• Ability to merchandise the different product categories using Porsche Design standards and Directives.
Processes
• Manage KPIs (SPH, UPT, Basket value)
• Administer monthly MPCs (Meaningful Performance Conversations) and Annual Performance Review with store employees.
• Schedules and commission calculators completed monthly.
• Cost management/controlling
• Manage store inventory.
• Complete Marketing tasks as assigned in a timely manner.
• Daily cash reconciliation, petty cash management, bank deposits
• Complete daily/weekly sales reports to accounting.
• Assist in loss prevention through awareness and close attention to detail.
• Follow and complete Management Directives as well as other duties assigned.
• Efficient and accurate use of POS system (ring up sales, returns and exchanges and capture/enter customer data).
• Use of security measures (alarms, locks, safe, etc.) effectively. Emergency Action Plan for your store.
• Use of proper safety measures (lifting, use of ladders, cleanliness, etc.)
