The Corporate & Occupational Safety, Fire & Environmental Protection department is responsible for environmental management, occupational safety management, personal protective equipment, and workwear. The department provides advice on, among other things, the legally compliant planning of buildings, operating resources, and hazardous and non-hazardous substances. Furthermore, Occupational Safety supports the implementation of risk assessments, the creation of operating instructions, and the definition of measures. Deviations and potential for improvement are identified and communicated to those responsible during regular inspections and audits. Furthermore, the department organizes training courses for various stakeholders in occupational safety, fire, and environmental protection and provides training materials for managers centrally.
