At the Autonomous Driving Campus, you will write your thesis and contribute to advancing innovative planning approaches for autonomous driving technologies.

- You conduct research on state-of-the-art autonomous driving models and have the chance to test and improve beyond them.
- Here, you gain practical AI experience by implementing a novel architecture or training paradigm, contributing to our team’s research.
- Using our cutting-edge training infrastructure, you conduct experiments and evaluate your approach efficiently.
- You present the thesis results using the scientific method, both in written and oral formats.
- Additionally, you collaborate with an experienced team that has published at international peer-reviewed conferences.
- At the Autonomous Driving Campus in Unterschleißheim, you engage with an international and diverse team of doctoral candidates and students.
Please note that your thesis must be supervised by a university on your part.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in computer science or related fields with a focus on machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- Strong knowledge in computer vision concepts and state-of-the-art architectures. Prior knowledge in imitation learning or reinforcement learning is a plus.
- Excellent programming skills in Python and PyTorch, and familiarity with tools like Docker and Git.
- Fluency in English.
- Curiosity and motivation to solve problems while sharing ideas and working in a team.
