The Role:
From initial planning and development through build, Live Operations and post-event analysis, your focus will be on elevating the guest experience at every touchpoint. You will act as a crucial liaison between internal and external teams, ensuring the guest experience is at the heart of all decisions. You will develop a comprehensive event vision that aligns with budgetary constraints and overall event objectives.
- Fan Village Visionary: Work with a network of international agencies to manage the full lifecycle of the Fan Village, from initial briefing and conceptual design to on-site implementation in diverse global city locations.
- Ceremonial Design Lead: Collaborate with internal teams to drive the creative development and operational delivery of all ceremonial aspects of the event, from podium celebrations to opening and closing ceremonies, pre-race entertainment, and concerts.
- Onsite operations Orchestrator: Plan and Deliver Key onsite operations including Grid Ambassadors, Driver Meet and Greets, Podium, Entertainment, Sports Presentation and Support Staff.
- F&B Experience Leader: Manage public food and beverage (F&B) operations, ensuring compliance with Formula E sustainability policies and local regulations.
- Partnership Activation Expert: Lead the delivery of key partnership activations and exhibitors in the Fan Village, in collaboration with Partnership Account Managers, overseeing plot suitability, contractor procurement, FE policy compliance, and all recharges are accounted for.
- Budgeting Acumen: Take full ownership of a substantial event budget, budget planning, tracking, and reporting, and manage all related purchase orders and invoices.
- Brand and Design Champion: Lead on all artwork briefs, showing a comprehensive understanding of branding and design elements, and how they combine to define the overall visual and experiential identity of the Fan Village.
What we're looking for in you:
- Project Management & Stakeholder Expertise: Experience in Managing projects and multiple stakeholders across large scale events including end-to-end delivery, procuring and managing suppliers, planning, creating briefing documents, scheduling, logistics, and on the ground execution.
- Proven Leadership: ideally experience in managing large teams/agencies/clients.
- Large Scale Event Pro: Proven experience working on mass participation events, international events or experiential projects such as music festivals, food festivals, fan zones, in music, or sport
- Positive and Proactive:You’re positive, with a team-oriented mindset and a proactive work ethic.
- Product Knowledge Guru: Strong production knowledge in planning, permits, scheduling, logistics, H&S and AV.
