Ready to jumpstart your career? Strap in, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated part-time Safeguarding and Resilience Coordinator to join our unique mission.
The Role:
The Safeguarding & Resilience Coordinator will support the Safety, Security & Resilience (SSR) Director by owning the effective day to day coordination an implementation of our Safeguarding and Resilience processes throughout the Championship, and our organisation as a whole.
Responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the day-to-day liaison for the business on our Safeguarding processes.
- Collaborating with the workforce planning team to plan and implement local safeguarding checks/vetting for relevant roles within the local workforce deployment for each race.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure our safeguarding procedures are effectively implemented throughout all relevant events and activations.
- Proactively liaising with internal stakeholders to plan and implement the required safeguarding controls for race event activations, including FIA Girls on Track and Inspiration Hour activations.
- Collaborating with relevant internal and external stakeholders to collate, create and distribute the Event Control Pack for each race.
What we're looking for in you
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about safeguarding and resilience, and who is committed to promoting a safe and inclusive environment. Ideally you’ll have:
- An understanding of basic safeguarding measures and principles.
- Whilst experience in safeguarding/business resilience/events roles is be beneficial, it’s not essential. We encourage applications from individuals with transferable skills and willingness to learn.
- Experience implementing procedures at operational level, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- A basic understanding of budgeting processes and spend tracking.
- Experience in analysing data in to produce reports.
- Ability to communicate confidently and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Flexibility to travel to 1 or 2 race locations per year, with the understanding this may involve working days outside if the normal routine.
Please note that this is a part time role of 3 days per week, therefore the salary shown will be pro-rata to part time hours.
