As a Vehicle Production Engineer, you will support all areas of vehicle production. Your primary responsibility will be to provide quality support across all departments of vehicle production. Responsibilities:
Identify areas for improved vehicle production efficiency
Work within all production departments to provide a coordinated schedule
Work with vendors on required documentation
Evaluate measurements for all vehicle components
Coordinate supply of vehicle components from vendors
Coordinate production data collection, perform analysis of measurements
Communicate required improvements and process changes
Manage documentation of completed work across multiple departments
No travel required
Qualifications:
A.S or B.S. Degree in an Engineering Discipline
Ability to interact positively with multiple departments
Ability to embrace change in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
An inquisitive nature and an innate ability to see differences and details between seemingly similar items
Ability to work in a group and/or alone on multiple projects, with variable and often very tight timelines
Ability to create planned strategies for problem solving, including coordinating tests and writing test plans
Ability to work in an active environment without losing focus on required deadlines
Use of common workplace Microsoft tools including Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.
Computer programing skills are desirable (VBA, Matlab, Python, etc.)
