Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
From 2026, Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
The new team has two locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for innovative technologies and passion for racing. The power unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for chassis development and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG will turn two teams into one factory team - and you can be part of it.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is to be filled at Audi Formula Racing GmbH at the Neuburg (Germany) site.
At Audi Formula Racing GmbH IT, you will be in charge of the Mission Control Room during the entire race (Thursday to Sunday during F1 race times). This will ensure that the race engineers in Neuburg can work during free practice, qualifying and the race. The Mission Control Room will have a connection to the race tracks worldwide and the F1 Racing Team in Hinwil/Switzerland.
YOUR TASKS
You set up the data connection on the respective race weekend to the respective worldwide race tracks in cooperation with the racing team
You monitor the data connection during the entire race
You look after the race engineers and VIP guests in the Mission Control in Neuburg
You fix minor network, server or database problems during racing
You coordinate major IT disruptions together with the AFR IT team and the AFR test bench team
You work in the IT and test bench IT support team – deadline and second level with
You maintain and create IT documentation for Mission Control
YOUR PROFILE
Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable training in the IT field, e.g. IT specialist system integration
Knowledge of network technologies (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, multicast, routing, monitoring, etc.)
Experience in the administration of server and database systems
Experience in analyzing, diagnosing and resolving infrastructure disruptions
Commitment, motivation and a high degree of flexibility
Independent, responsible and service-oriented working style and strong teamwork skills
Participation in the safeguarding of the F1 racing operations in Neuburg (Thursday to Sunday at the respective international Formula 1 racing times) is another part of your work in the Audi F1 project
You are fluent in German or English and are willing to learn basic knowledge of the other language
