Purpose of the job:
The purpose of the Trainee Kit-Cutter and Material Controller is to support the Kit-Cutting and Laminating Supervisor and the Kit-Cutters in the day-to-day running of the Kit-Cutting department.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhering to company policies and procedures.
Ensuring daily schedule is met and that schedule adherence is carried out and met daily.
Use of our Sage 200 software.
Stock control.
Material Allocation.
Editing Bill of Materials when required.
Daily forecast of material to ensure we have stock.
Tracking quoted material usage against actual usage.
Liaising and transferring materials between the Brackley and Wellingborough sites.
Stock take – making sure that the stock is accurate at all times.
WIP counts.
Kit-Cutting – cutting carbon fibre materials. Cover Kit-Cutting in the afternoons and holiday cover.
SKILLS:
Previous admin experience preferred.
Good accuracy.
Attention to detail.
Can follow verbal and written instructions.
Work independently and in a team.
