Your Role & Resposibilities
This role is focused on supporting Propulsion test systems activities within Test Engineering.
Duties
- Specify test equipment and design rigs for powertrain subsystems; engine, battery or motor to be installed in test facilities.
- Setup data acquisition systems (e.g. PUMA, CP CADET, Horiba STARS or National Instruments) for data collection and advise on best practice.
- Support troubleshooting activities within the test facility.
- Technical support and guidance to staff.
- Define, modify, and implement test processes.
- Provide wider technical support towards the delivery of test projects.
- Involved in company initiatives for future testing requirements
Skills and Experience
- Proven background in propulsion system testing and associated facilities.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- IT literacy in MS Office applications is essential.
- Ability to influence the customer, senior management, and team members.
- Relevant experience in the field of powertrain engineering gained within an OEM or academic or consultancy environment.
