The position:
We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team here at Williams Racing. Join our friendly Security team, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that all visitors and staff have a great experience. This role is based on-site at our factory in Grove and is a combination of security and front of house duties.
As a Business Support Officer, your main responsibilities will be:
Access control of visitors to the Conference Centre and F1 site.
Recording all contractors, deliveries and visitors to site, time in/time out.
Work unsupervised and alone at various times on site, mainly weekends and Bank Holidays.
Receiving calls from staff relating to visitors/guests.
Monitoring CCTV system.
Ensure only bona-fide persons enter Williams F1 site/issue appropriate security pass and contact host.
Maintain the security records for the door access control and gate house barrier including issuing of cards with access control as specified.
Record staff entering site with no access card, record lost-found property details and any other information that may be relevant.
Control the issue of keys, recording times of in & out, plus name of individuals receiving keys.
Respond to any emergency that may arise i.e., fire/flood/first aid etc and notify the relevant employee or Maintenance Team
To prevent theft, detect fire, flood & waste issues.
Work unsupervised & alone at various times on site.
Greet and welcome all visitors/ contractors & deliveries to site & directing them to accordingly to their appropriate destination.
We are looking for a Business Support Officer with the following skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a customer facing role is advantageous, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Ability to prioritise, multitask & work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong MS skills including Word, Excel and in-house systems.
A positive attitude to learning with a can-do attitude.
A Team Player who is adaptable & supportive of their colleagues
SIA badge would be advantageous, but not essential.
First aid training would be beneficial, but not essential.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Please note this role will be working Mon-Fri (40 hours)
