We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our dedicated warehouse team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our entire warehouse, optimizing inventory management, and driving operational excellence. This is a unique opportunity to join a world-renowned Formula One team and contribute directly to our success on and off the track.
What you'll do:
- Lead the charge: Oversee daily warehouse operations, from receiving and storage to picking, packing, and dispatching goods, ensuring optimal productivity and accuracy.
- Empower your team: Mentor and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Master inventory control: Implement robust stock control procedures, conduct cycle counting and audits, and minimize discrepancies to ensure we have the right parts at the right time.
- Drive efficiency: Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Champion safety: Enforce rigorous health and safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Optimize logistics: Collaborate with our supply chain team to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Manage resources: Develop and manage the warehouse budget, monitoring KPIs and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
- Embrace technology: Leverage our warehouse management system (WMS) and other technologies to enhance efficiency and visibility.
- Collaborate across teams: Work closely with Procurement, Delivery Operations, and Production to ensure seamless integration and alignment with overall company objectives.
What you'll bring:
- Proven leadership: 7+ years of experience in warehouse management, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Operational excellence: Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management techniques, and health and safety regulations.
- Process improvement mindset: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
- Technology proficiency: Familiarity with WMS, ERP systems, and other relevant technologies.
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication and collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for motorsport: A genuine interest in Formula One and a desire to contribute to the success of Williams Racing.
