Job description:
We have an opportunity for a Programme Manager to join the Andretti Cadillac Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in defining, managing and delivering complex performance projects for the car. Delivering the most performant projects right first time, with maximum efficiency, whilst staying within the bounds of the Cost Cap, is the key to outperforming the competition. Principal Accountabilities:
Working with the Head of Programmes and Heads of Design to define and prioritise programmes in line with the overall car strategy
Work with the rest of the programme team to define effective programme governance, championing the defined standards to adherence
Create detailed programme plans, including schedules and resource allocation, ensuring perfect alignment and accepted consensus from all key stakeholders
Regularly monitor and report on progress – identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
A dynamic approach to Programme Management, responding positively and calmly to adversity, feeling wholeheartedly accountable for driving setbacks to resolution
Manifest a culture of cross-functional collaboration - coordinate with stakeholders across all functions with excellent communication, to ensure alignment and successful execution of programmes
Champion continuous improvement initiatives, continuously reviewing opportunities to improve organisational and programme efficiency
Build strong relationships with sub teams and stakeholders, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with programme outcomes
Requirements
Proven experience as a Programme Manager or similar role, managing and delivering complex projects or programmes
Strong understanding and practical knowledge of programme management methodologies and techniques; sprint and waterfall methods are desirable
Experience in high-level motorsport or other fast-paced and volatile environments
Track record of successfully delivering programmes on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
Extraordinary organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects at any given time
Proficient in project management tools and software
Relevant professional certifications in programme management (e.g., MSP, PMP, APM, PRINCE2) are desirable
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment – comfortable with continually changing priorities and operating under high pressure
