Manage the measurement, reporting and insight generation for McLaren Racing and its partners, focusing on the performance of the brand and commercial value driven through digital and social channels.
The postholder is accountable for managing their workload, balancing scheduled campaign reports and live reactive reporting to inform campaign performance.
Role dimension
You will report to the Associate Digital Director and be a part of McLaren Racing’s wider digital team, working in close collaboration with our content and social media teams.
This role provides hybrid working but requires you to be at the McLaren Technology Centre (Woking, UK) at least three days per week.
McLaren operates in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, and the nature of racing on weekends and working in social media means regularly working during unsocial hours.
Principal Accountabilities
- Report on content relating to the McLaren Formula 1 Team channels.
- Ensure live dashboards are well-maintained and updated.
- Proactively flag trends and content opportunities to the social media team.
- Support McLaren’s partners with scheduled performance reports and ad hoc reporting.
- Support McLaren’s business development and strategy teams with ad-hoc reporting.
- Support McLaren’s licensing team with fan engagement data to help achieve ecommerce goals.
- Collaborate with McLaren’s strategy team to align data and insights with market research and audience profiling.
- Support the growth and engagement of McLaren’s owned platforms by measuring performance, extracting insights, and providing recommendations to driver performance.
- Manage the use of the reporting tools, ensuring the tools align to business needs and budget.
- A passion for sports and fan engagement.
- Strong knowledge of social and digital analytical tools.
- Strong knowledge of native ad platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and Google.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics.
- Experienced with Microsoft Excel and third-party data management tools.
- Experienced with Microsoft PowerPoint to present data and insights creatively.
- Preferable experience with Microsoft Power BI and Tableau, as well as any previous coding experience.
- Experience working in a real-time, reactive digital environment and being able to multitask.

McLaren Racing is based at the iconic McLaren
Technology Centre (MTC) near Woking. Here at McLaren, we offer hybrid working
with 3 days a week based in the MTC.

to Woking mainline station via regular shuttle buses, from which London
