BMW Group Financial Services UK is looking for a Junior Systems Analyst. This role is based at the Summit ONE Campus in Farnborough.
As a Junior System Analyst within the UK IT team, you will be allocated to one/multiple projects to support the business analysis function in respect to business change linked to our IT applications used within Financial Services, together with processes and IT services of the department.

- Requirements Gathering: Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to elicit business requirements and ensure a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
- Data Analysis: Analyse data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and strategies.
- Process Mapping: Document current processes and develop improved workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Documentation: Clearly and accurately document business requirements, processes, and workflows, ensuring that all relevant information is recorded and accessible.
- Solution Assessment: Evaluate potential solutions to business issues, considering their feasibility, costs, benefits, and alignment with company goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and solutions.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations that summarize findings, data analysis, and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Project Support: Assist with project management tasks, such as maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Testing: Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure that developed solutions meet the specified requirements and perform as expected.
- Change Management: Support the implementation of new systems, processes, or changes, assisting with training materials, communications, and other activities to ensure a smooth transition.
- Continuous Learning: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new technologies, and business analysis methodologies.
What should you bring along?
- Degree level qualified or equivalent - relevant degree or comparable experience.
- Work experience (paid or unpaid) in other organisations would be preferable
- Demonstrable experience in working within a team (not necessarily in a work environment)..
- Understanding of Windows and Microsoft 365 products is required
- Understanding of Confluence and Jira tools would be an advantage
