We have a new opportunity to be part of our IT team in the role of IT Project Manager .
Responsibilities:
To deliver new and enhance existing solutions and services to the broader Team.
To plan and implement projects such as upgrades of business-critical applications, migrate to new infrastructure services and build brand new cloud-based solutions
To use waterfall and Agile methodologies and tools to propose the most suitable delivery methodology for each assigned task
Engage in requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring that the project objectives are clearly defined and understood by all stakeholders.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation processes to ensure that delivered solutions meet the business needs and quality standards.
To contribute towards designing and build cross-functional teams to mature the scope, requirements, resource profile etc. to complete each task within pre-defined parameters
To be hands on and practical and add value to the implementation process
To effectively manage stakeholder relationships using appropriate communication styles
To chair, attend and proactively participate in meetings as required
To work proactively, responsibly and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure
To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge of own area of expertise and keeping any relevant certifications valid
Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job role
Skills & Knowledge Required
Successful track record of managing and delivering both software and infrastructure related projects
5+ years’ experience in project management would be preferable
Effective communication skills including workshop facilitation, presentations and leading discussions with all levels of the business
The ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels
Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions quickly, balancing competing priorities considering potential impacts on the portfolio
Familiarity with project management software and tools for planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress
Experienced in both Waterfall & Agile ways of working (Scrum), hands on approach to developing and managing a backlog and all associated ceremonies
Proficient in tailoring project control methods to suit the Agile environment. Skilled at creating and adjusting project control mechanisms that provide necessary oversight while allowing for the flexibility needed to embrace change and innovation
The ability to manage and monitor the project's progress and adherence to objectives while still maintaining the agility required to accommodate shifts in project scope and priorities. To showcase expertise in implementing controls that facilitate effective project management without compromising the essence of Agile methodologies.
