Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Team Lead and Principal Test Engineer, you will head a team of Test Development Engineers, driving complex test challenges from concept through NPI release to high-volume manufacturing for industrial analog and mixed-signal ICs. You will collaborate with other related Product and Test Engineering teams as well as cross-functional teams.
- Lead and develop the team by setting a clear vision and priorities, conducting regular 1:1s, building capabilities, and fostering an inclusive, high-trust culture
- Own test strategy and execution: Test concept definition, Design for Test (DfT) guidelines, bring-up, characterization, correlation, qualification, and release to production
- Guide cost- and resource‑efficient development of automated test solutions for complex analog/mixed‑signal circuits on Advantest V93000 and Teradyne Eagle ETS‑800,88
- Drive test program implementation for power‑related functions (e.g., Protection-ICs, gate drivers, SMPS, ADC/DACs), ensuring safe and robust measurement methods
- Oversee test hardware development, including loadboards and probe cards
- Define test specification, in close collaboration with Concept, Design, and Product Engineering, ensuring traceability from requirements to test coverage
- Ensure test packages are delivered on time and at quality by managing resources, risks and gates, and drive structured problem solving (e.g. 8D) for test-related issues
- Promote the practical use of AI tools and methodologies in daily work
