QualificationsQualifications
We are looking for exceptional problem solvers and business builders who combine strategic depth with a genuine passion for how ships, fleets, and yards actually run.
- Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm and/or a leading maritime organization (e.g., cruise line, container/bulk/tanker carrier, or shipyard)
- Passion for operator and shipbuilding businesses — hands-on curiosity about fleets, ports, yards, and operations, not just deck-level exposure
- Deep experience in one or more maritime segments:
- Cruise & Leisure — fleet & hotel operations, guest experience, revenue management, newbuild and drydock programs
- Cargo & Shipping — network and commercial optimization, fleet productivity, procurement, terminal operations
- Shipbuilding & Maritime Manufacturing — yard productivity, program management, cost and supply-chain transformation, digital shipbuilding
- Demonstrated track record leading large-scale transformation with measurable results
- Strong commercial instinct and appetite to contribute to business development
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfort with whitespace, ambiguity, and building from a strong but non-dominant market position
- Outstanding analytical, communication, and executive-stakeholder skills
- Graduate degree (MBA or equivalent) from a renowned institution preferred
- Minimum 6–10 years of professional experience across consultancy and/or the maritime sector
- Second language fluency (German, Spanish, French, or Italian) a plus
- Strong desire to mentor and grow the next generation of consultants
