The Finance Transformation program aims to converge the company into a unified global operating model based on common processes, organization, systems and governance.
As a Central Finance Local Entity Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Central Finance solution and Global Data Model within a European legal entity. You will act as the link between the Central Finance project team and the local organization, ensuring successful deployment, local adoption and long-term sustainability of the new model.
Following go-live, you will become the local Central Finance expert, supporting operations, governance and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Phase
- Act as the primary interface between the Central Finance project team and the local legal entity.
- Coordinate local deployment activities, including data collection, process mapping, testing and cutover preparation.
- Support the collection, validation and migration of financial master data.
- Ensure alignment between local processes and the Global Core Model.
- Coordinate local participation in workshops, training sessions and testing activities (SIT/UAT).
- Monitor project progress and escalate risks, issues or dependencies when required.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Shared Service Centers and external stakeholders.
Go-Live & Hypercare
- Support cutover activities and ensure operational readiness.
- Participate in hypercare activities and issue resolution.
- Promote adoption of new processes, systems and governance standards.
Post Project
- Act as the Central Finance reference point for the legal entity.
- Support governance and maintenance of financial master data.
- Participate in future system enhancements, integrations and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with the Global Core Model and Finance standards.
- Coordinate continuously with Central Finance governance teams and local stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant professional experience in Finance, Financial Systems, ERP implementation, Project Management or Finance Transformation.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
- Experience working with financial systems and ERP solutions.
- Familiarity with financial master data structures, reporting hierarchies and finance processes.
- Experience supporting projects, system implementations, testing activities or process improvements.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English. Minimum C1 level, certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP, particularly S/4HANA, FI/CO or Central Finance.
- Exposure to finance transformation or ERP deployment projects.
- Knowledge of SOX, IFRS and internal control environments.
- Experience in multinational organizations.
- Additional European languages are considered a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Controlling processes.
