As a Senior Staff Specialist Product Owner for Product Information Management in our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team, you work hand-in-hand with our customers, enabling them to transform our products into cutting-edge designs, all while building long- lasting partnerships that thrive on success. Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop and maintain the Product Information Management strategy in alignment with domain architects and the business objectives; own the PIM backlog and roadmap based on business strategy and priorities
- Develop and manage product information management metrics, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing insights to stakeholders and management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, distribution and product development, to ensure accurate and consistent product information
- Derive and prioritize product information management services from product data governance framework and stakeholder business strategy
- Optimize product information management procedures, including creation, updates, and deletion, ensuring data quality and integrity by incorporating inputs from operations and business processes
- Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Analyze and resolve product information issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
- Work closely with IT teams and multiple vendors to implement and maintain the product information management ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration with existing and new sources and downstream consumers
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product information management, product data management or master data management in the manufacturing industry, ideally electronics; Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of product information management principles and practices with strong stakeholder management, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience delivering product increments in an agile to hybrid environment, ideally Scrum or SAFe certified, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong ability to manage complexity in data, processes, interfaces and infrastructure
- Fluency in English is required, German is a plus
