SCOPE AND PURPOSE
Monitor the suppliers' performances and KPIs, as well as the implementation of improvement action after claims/audit in order to maintain an adequate level towards Brembo customer.
RESULT AREAS / MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Monitors suppliers performances (KPI IQ/PPM) Quality Index- Part per milion;
- Manages claims coming from suppliers;
- Manages suppliers non-conformity;
- Performs audit on suppliers;
- Guarantees the communication with supplier in case of non-conformity.
Qualifications / Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, Electrical, Materials Engineering).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Supplier Quality or related quality roles.
- Proven experience in supplier quality, production quality, or manufacturing quality within an industrial or automotive environment.
- Hands-on experience with supplier PPAP approval processes, incoming inspection documentation, measurement program setup, and report review.
- Practical experience in incoming inspection of components from suppliers to ensure release readiness for the production line.
- Exposure to non-conforming product management, including problem-solving methodologies, root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and component verification activities.
- Exposure to supplier PPAP submission and approval processes, including document control and release activities, is considered an advantage.
- Ability to work hands‑on on the shop floor.
- Solid knowledge of Quality Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Hands-on experience in using laboratory and measurement equipment such as CMM, Roundness Tester, Hardness Tester, Roughness Tester, and Profile Projector.
- Good understanding of GD&T, special characteristics, and technical drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of statistical process control, including Cp, Cpk analysis, and familiarity with incoming inspection activities.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including global stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams in a dynamic environment.
- Compliance-driven mindset, with a strong focus on supplier quality and adherence to Brembo standards and requirements.
