Your Role
As Material Flow Manager, you will orchestrate the seamless movement of materials from receipt to production, ensuring operational continuity and cost efficiency. You will act as the critical link between logistics, production, and engineering, driving continuous improvement in inventory integrity.
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Manage a team of material coordinators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and accuracy in daily operations
- Ensure accurate material documentation, resolve system errors (COGI/MESSIS), and verify inventory levels (including WIP and cleanroom stocks) to prevent discrepancies
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to streamline material transfers and cleanroom replenishment, minimizing overstocking and avoiding production delays
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, company policies, and 5S principles to keep the production area organized and efficient
- Identify inefficiencies in material handling and distribution, implementing changes to reduce waste and improve workflow
- Track key KPIs (inventory accuracy, consumption, lead times) and provide regular reports to management, working closely with Industrial Engineering to meet efficiency targets
- Partner with Production, Quality, and other departments to align material availability with production schedules and quality requirements

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
- 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a multinational or large-scale setting in industries such as automotive, electronics, FMCG, or aerospace, with a proven track record in inventory management and production planning
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, specifically SAP MM/PP modules), Material Requirements Planning (MRP/MRP II), and advanced Excel/Data Analytics skills (Power BI)
- Experience with Just-In-Time (JIT) and Kanban systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Lean Manufacturing principles, and Root Cause Analysis techniques (5-Why, Ishikawa), along with strong leadership skills for managing multicultural teams and cross-functional collaboration
- Fluency in English and Hungarian
