As Lead Engineer you will build and shape the local Digital Manufacturing Solutions team in Cegléd. At the moment, the team consists of one person, and after the ramp-up phase it will grow to three team members, with you as the team lead. You will be the technical anchor for equipment automation, factory automation, self-developed applications, and digital manufacturing topics, while helping to implement global standards and drive highly flexible local solutions.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop and own the site DMS roadmap in line with business goals and DMS objectives.
- Coordinate DMS activities with DMS, IT, manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
- Design, prototype, and implement technical solutions and architectures for complex environments.
- Develop and further enhance self-developed applications using a modern tech stack such as C#, React, Angular, and OpenShift.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools and provide implementation guidance.
- Identify and implement AI use cases in DMS, including software development, automation, and engineering productivity, as well as business use cases outside DMS.
- Select and improve monitoring and operations tools where applicable.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and drive root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Ensure application and system resilience, sustainability, and recovery capabilities.
- Maintain, upgrade, and enhance local applications and systems.
- Lead projects for new systems and technologies.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide technical guidance.
- Develop technical documentation, guides, and knowledge bases.
- Ensure smooth operation of DMS systems.
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, IT or a related field.
- Practical programming experience, preferably with C#/.NET.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux and Kubernetes/Open Shift.
- Experience with database systems such as Oracle or MSSQL.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Experience with industrial communication interfaces such as OPC UA,MQTT, or SECS/GEM is a plus.
- Fluency in Hungarian and intermediate English and/or German.
