This position is responsible for leading the digital and analytics strategy for the Purchasing and Supply Chain Centre, driving transformation and AI adoption to improve decision-making, digital maturity, and operational efficiency. The Digital Strategy & Analytics Leader defines and governs the Centre's end-to-end data strategy, establishes data ownership and governance frameworks across business areas, and drives analytics-enabled operational efficiency.
The role leads digital change management to embed a data culture, delivers operational analytics projects that generate measurable business impact, and partners across Units, Divisions, and Departments to align data initiatives with enterprise objectives.
Key responsibilities include defining R&R and staffing requirements for the unit, setting clear priorities and providing direction to associates, ensuring that associates feel seen, heard, and valued as a key contributor to Honda's success, and driving a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and 10+ years of experience in technical leadership and team management, with a strong background in application of Honda Philosophy, communicating with impact and influence, and developing self and others.
